Florian Schmid – CEO
Vision, Style, Organization, Engineering, Finance, and spreading the Zeitgeist
Already during his teenage years Florian developed a love for sustainability and making life better for many, many people. He studied Business, Economics and Electrical Engineering in Austria, Finland, and Sweden. He also obtained a lot of Real Estate Development expertise in Florida and Austria.
Since 2010, Florian has developed a deep Love for Greece and started building Solar Power Stations in Rhodes, contributing to less Diesel Generators being used on the island. Since 2017, he initiated the group’s Real Estate Branch by starting several Real Estate projects, always looking to improve buildings with a fresh look, using traditional styles and respecting the past, but giving a new twist to bring structures into the modern world.
On the other hand, Florian is also very talented at setting up international company structures, developing cost analysis and putting systems in place to control timing and budgets of ongoing projects. Always having his love for Nature and Zeitgeist timing in mind, Florian initiated the group’s first purchase of an Olive Grove in 2020 and a first harvest of Extra Virgin Olive Oil was successfully pressed!
Stavros Paschos
Sourcing, Business Development, and Construction Supervision
Stavros stems from a Ship Owning Family and Ship Repair Dynasty in Greece, and spent his youth between very large vessels in the Port of Piraeus, and the hills of Theologos. This allowed him to get into Real Estate Development, which then led him to renewable energy ventures in Rhodes and Lesbos. He has been working with the Austrian – USA Team of Atlas for 10 years already and loves the front end – sourcing and business development, and the back end – Marketing and Sales. Stavros uses his youthful and positive energy to grow the Atlas Group, dreaming of successful decades to come. Stavros studied Business in the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, MSC in Maritime Economics and Logistics and he loves boating and most of all Soccer, where he never misses a game of Olympiakos Piraeus.
